If you are dealing with unwanted hair and you’d rather avoid the perils of using a razor, you have a few options available to get the sleek, smooth skin you desire. Two choices are Brazilian Sugaring and Waxing. Here’s information about each process.
Brazilian Sugaring
The procedure of Brazilian sugaring is one that is relatively non-invasive, yet effective in the removal of hair. A mixture of sugar, water, and lemon juice is molded against the hair growth pattern where unwanted hair is present it is then flicked away from the body in the direction of the hair growth. Unlike wax the sugar paste does not need to be heated to high temperatures, making it safer and more comfortable for this delicate region. This procedure is less painful, more effective and safer than waxing. It is the preferred method of hair removal especially for those with sensitive skin. The sugar paste is all-natural. It does not contain additives, chemicals, or preservatives.
Waxing
Waxing is a process where resins or waxy substances derived from trees, bees wax and petroleum are applied to the body to remove hair. Wax is heated to high temperatures and burning is a risk when not appropriately cooled before applying the skin. Wax is applied in the direction of hair growth thus removal is against the growth risking hair breakage and trauma to the follicles. Depending on the type of wax used, removal is conducted by peeling it away via hand or with a strip of paper.
