OUR POLICIES


APPOINTMENT & STUDIO POLICY
The Sweet Spot is an all-inclusive environment for all. We do not discriminate against sex, gender, class, race, religion, affiliation, etc. We welcome everyone into our studio and believe a great service is deserved by all. 

We ask that all clients honor our polices, so that we may uphold an excellent standard for everyone. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time if we find our polices are not being respected.

All clients are required to fill out a Client Intake Form and any forms required for the desired services before receiving services.

All clients receiving a service must be at least 18 years of age.  Minors must have a signed consent form by a parent or legal guardian. We do not perform extended bikini or brazilin services for anyone under 18 years of age. Please contact our front desk for more information. 

A valid credit card is required for all appointments to be reserved. Your card will not be charged, except per our Late Cancellation & No Show Policy. We are committed to ensuring all your information is secured and protected.

24-hours notice is required for any modifications or cancellations to appointments. 

Your privacy is important. Your information such as your credit card, contact information, details about your service(s) and/or purchases, etc is never shared, except as may be required by law. If you have any questions concerning our privacy policies please feel free to ask. 
LATE CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY
- A valid credit card number is required on file for any appointment
- At least 24-hours notice for cancellations and changes
- Show up on time or, several minutes early to relax and get in the zone

Your appointment time is reserved for you. So when you don’t show up, you miss out, someone else who could have had your spot misses out, and your esthetician misses out. It’s what we call a lose-lose-lose and is very hard on a small business.

- If you give us less than 24-hours notice, we’ll charge your card for 50% of the service fee.
- If you don’t show up at all, we have to charge you for the whole appointment. 
- Of course we understand that things do come up. So just give us a ring. 
MEDICATIONS
We are unable to preform certain services for any individuals that use topical or oral prescriptions such as but not limited to:
- Antibiotics
- Accutane
- Sotret
- Claravis
- Retin-A or Retinol (Vit A)
- Differin
- Tazorac
- or any medication that will affect the skin

Certain medications either topical or oral affects the whole body and can cause severe drying and thinning of the skin. There is a high risk of permanent damage to the skin if you do hair removal or certain facials while on this treatment. Our recommendation is a minimum of at least 6 months after discontinuation of these medications before receiving these services. Please let us know if you are currently, have, or plan to take any medications for your safety. Call our front desk to discuss your options.
LOCATION & PARKING
The Sweet Spot is located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, WA at the intersection of Evanston Ave N and N 35th St.

We have a small, private parking lot for client use during their appointment time only. First come first serve. Park on the side with the painted mural marked for The Sweet Spot. All unauthorized vehicles are subject to towing. 
RETAIL AND SERIES PACKAGES POLICY
Accepted forms of payment are cash and all major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX).

We know finding the right product can be difficult- we offer samples of select products- just ask! We welcome you to give our specially curated product selection a try! With that, we do not offer cash refunds.

We do accept exchanges for store credit to be used toward products or services. In order to receive an exchange or store credit, the following must be met:
- Item(s) to be exchanged must be  new, unopened, and unused
- A receipt must be present.
- Exchanges must be within 10 days of purchase from the dated receipt.
- Exchanged product of greater value will be credited as store credit for a future transaction.

The Sweet Spot gift cards are non-refundable.

All Series purchases are non-refundable. Series Packages do not expire; the dollar value of the original series purchase will be applied in cases of service price changes.

The Sweet Spot reserves the right to change prices of services and products at any time.
